Beginning December 1, 2021, all clients will need to book their phone and in person sessions by securing their appointment with a debit or credit card on file with AnimalsCanTalk, even if the appointment has been paid for online through my website.
Over the past 6 months, the number of sessions that have been booked and not kept has risen to a state where I can no longer sustain the loss. These include appointments that were already paid for online and those booked directly with me.
The current policy states:
"In the event you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please be sure to give a 24 hour notice to avoid a $50.00 fee. The same fee applies to all missed sessions."
The new policy beginning December 1, 2021 will state:
"In the event you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please be sure to give a 24 hour notice to avoid a $120.00 fee. The same fee applies to all missed sessions."
I absolutely hate doing this but I have no choice. This is my livelihood and my fulltime job. I have avoided doing this for almost 16 years. I can withstand the 2-3 that happens throughout the year, but I cannot sustain the 20-30 who simply refuse to pay for a missed session.
I am hopeful that my clients will understand the need and reason for this change.
